Workshops are by far our favorite type of event, as they allow for maximum debate and discussion. The workshops we organise are divided into sessions and accompanied by presentations on topics of interest. Once a topic is introduced, attendees are invited to take the floor with comments and questions. Apart from being intellectually stimulating, such events also embody another important principle: the value of debate within democratic societies. By creating a platform through which opinions can be aired and disagreements can be discussed, our workshops aim to demonstrate how the resolution of disputes is best arrived at through negotiation rather than recourse to violent means. Popular topics at workshops include foreign policy, youth apathy, terrorism and social development issues.

• 22 July, 2012: Khudi team held a workshop with students & political activists in Sheikhupura and formalized its Chapter.
• 20 July, 2012: Khudi held workshops and meetings with local activists, students and civil society members, and formalized Khudi Chapter in Jhang.
• 22 May, 2012:Khudi team visited Kalash valley to meet young activists there. Working as ‘Kalash People’s Development Network’ they are striving for the development and rights of their community.
• 22 May, 2012: Khudi organized a workshop in Chitral for training students and young activists on issues of social change and political participation.
• 22 May, 2012: In collaboration with Daanish Foundation and Jeevan Saanjh Pakistan, Khudi organized a one day training workshop at District Government Office, Sahiwal, Punjab. People from all walks of life including Government, academia, media and civil society participated.
• 06 May, 2012: Khudi team organized an ‘Open House’ event where youth from Lahore had explored and shared their creative pursuits.
• 21 April, 2012:Khudi organized a training session in Lahore focusing on critical thinking, activism and self-expression through theatre.
• 04 April, 2012: Khudi team organized a seminar in collaboration with YIDP and ACT, on the promotion of democratic culture, tolerance and pluralism at the Poonch University (Rawalakot) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
• 03 April, 2012: Khudi Pakistan organized a seminar in Sudhnoti District of Kashmir on the promotion of democratic culture, tolerance and pluralism.

• 1 February, 2012: Khudi and Youth Initiative for Development and Peace co-hosted a seminar on tolerance, peacebuilding and pluralism in Mirpur (Kashmir).
